Earlier involvement with our engineering’s will not only allow you to understand the capabilities of product development and introduction to the market it will also assure the products characteristics meet your environmental requirements and yield superior production quality. We first must understand the process, we follow a proven path and that simply is: |
• Define: What are the design requirements? What will make your product better than others? Who are the users? These questions lead to answers that define the meaningful elements in successful design.

• Design: How will your product appear? How will it work? How will your product capture the emotion of the users? Quantifying a design we need to define its aesthetics (form) and purpose (function).

• Engineer: How will the product be produced? How will it be assembled? What’s the ergonomic approach? What are the best materials and processes? To be successful you need to step back and review all aspects of the products interaction with the user, its environments and the best approach to manufacturability.

• Prototype: What’s the final products look, acceptable? Did we prove the design? Did it meet the requirements of the development team? These are all a sort of final examination to confirm the products success in manufacturing and the launch to the market.

• Manufacturer: What are the product costs? Where can we get it produced? We are here for
you as well, working with both US and overseas manufacturers. Our project engineers have been doing this for nearly 20 years and have a network of quality and cost effective manufacturers.

• Market: How will the message of the new product be conveyed? What is the nature and media target? Defining a products position in the marketplace and communicate it creatively is another critical process. This step is often overlooked and perhaps is the most critical, we have the solutions to have your product perceived well.

With the nature of Injection molded PopFoam we encourage our customer to “think outside the box”, why? Within our process we have the ability to implement lost cores and extreme undercuts without the need for complex tooling, complex geometry without complex tooling. |
