We at PopFoam consider prototyping to be an integral and essential part of the development process, especially in the world of injection molded foams. We offer in house prototyping for verification of engineering data and to allow design / process evaluations. Our systems allow direct downloading of computer modeling data for compression, machining, sterolithography, selective laser sintering, fused deposition modeling, wax patterns, cast elastomers, 3D printing and rapid tooling. PopFoam’s fully equipped modeling facility allows us to provide visual/functional models and short-run sampling for evaluation, sales samples, and field evaluation.

Ever heard of nobody’s faster in the short run sampling? Well at PopFoam we stand behind our commitment for rapid tooling and short pre-production sampling. Our single focus is to provide customers with the easiest, fastest and least-expensive way to obtain “real” samples of PopFoam molded parts.

Rapid and short run tooling can be made within 1-2 weeks. Using state of the art equipment and automated software, hundreds of tools are completed each year for our customers. Simple to complex tooling is ready for our molding facilities to sample your selected PopFoam compound.

Dependent upon the part design and selection of the PopFoam compound being injected, we can produce good preproduction volumes off these tools. Tooling can be polished, textured, or revised to make sure we achieve your production requirements before investing into production tooling.
