Is EVA foam safe? PopFoam is introducing a new method of developing and processing our compound that offers certification that it is a non-toxic foam that meets the most stringent children’s, US and European regulations for EVA foam uses. We call the process PopFoam nt. The resulting product is in compliance with CPSIA (consumer product safety standard improvement act) that certifies it does not contain Phthalates or lead in children’s toys and products.
Products made using the PopFoam nt method also meet the heavy metal screening test (ASTM F963-11 annex) that states it does not contain heavy metals including antimony, arsenic, barium, cadium, chromium, lead, selenium or mercury. PopFoam nt made products are also latex free, tested and passing (ASTM D5712-10).
Finally, PopFoam nt produced products meet the French decree of 15 September for formamide.
With many products currently made by Popfoam that are for children, pets and sports equipment with constant body contact, Popfoam nt addresses EVA foam safety and is the perfect manufacturing process to make compounds for these products. Want to have us make your next product using PopFoam nt methods? Please use the contact information below. We’re more than happy to discuss EVA foam uses and CPSIA compliant production.
