One World Futbol

One World Play Project (OWPP) began as an effort to provide a better solution for kids around the World – specifically in war-torn regions – to rebuild, heal and grow using The Power of Play. Founded by Tim Jahnigen who was watching a documentary about children in Darfur playing soccer with ball of wadded trash. These makeshift trash balls were made because traditional soccer balls pumped with air quickly get punctured and deflated making them useless. Jahnigen developed a design where the ball is molded using the PopFoam process which renders it virtually indestructible. The ball is hollow, can be punctured or deflated and will still be playable.
