One World Play Project (OWPP) began as an effort to provide a better solution for kids around the World – specifically in war-torn regions – to rebuild, heal, and grow using The Power of Play. Founded by Tim Jahnigen who was watching a documentary about children in Darfur playing soccer with a ball of wadded trash. These makeshift trash balls were made because traditional soccer balls pumped with air quickly get punctured and deflated making them useless. Jahnigen developed a design where the ball is molded using the PopFoam process that renders it extremely durable. The ball is hollow, can be punctured or deflated, and will still be playable.
